Delta Valley Conference-
Elk Grove 5, Franklin 4 - The Wildcats made it tight with three in the seventh inning. Carlee Gray goes two-for-three at the plate.
Monterey Trail 15, Grant 3 - I think the Mustangs will make the playoffs for the first time ever.

Sierra Valley Conference-
Cosumnes Oaks 5, Liberty Ranch 0 - big win for the Lady Wolfpack!

Another note -
The Fresno Bee is reporting that former Pleasant Grove speedster Jalen Saunders is leaving Fresno State. The All-Western Athletic Conference wide receiver will be going into his junior year but the Bulldogs have a new head coach in Tim DeRuyter and Saunders thinks the plan to make him a slot back isn't to his liking.

There is no mention as to where Saunders may be in the fall.
