Robert Frazier, Elk Grove's top running back, now has 815 yards in five games to lead all rushers in the North Sac-Joaquin Section. Jacobe Hawkins of Bradshaw Christian has 595 yards, eighth in the area in rushing. Pleasant Grove's Isaiah Saunders has gained 504 yards thus far.
Wadus Parker of Elk Grove has 499 yards in his first five games.
Arik Armstead, a freshman defensive lineman for Oregon and
graduate of Pleasant Grove, had a pair of tackles in Saturday’s 49-0 Ducks’ win
over Arizona.
UC-Davis may be 1-3 thus far but starting middle linebacker
Jordan Glass is having a solid start to the 2012 season. The former Elk Grove
star has 26 tackles, second on the Aggies’ team, including five for losses and
a pair of sacks.
Jonathan Bias, a 2010 Pleasant Grove graduate, has four
tackles thus far as a reserve linebacker. He is a redshirt freshman.
