Former Pleasant Grove defensive lineman Armond Armstead has signed a contract to play next season for the New England Patriots.
Armstead was an all-star defensive lineman for the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian League this season. The Argonauts won the Grey Cup, the CFL's version of the Super Bowl trophy.
Armstead played his college ball at Southern Cal.
