In Delta Valley Conference wrestling Wednesday Franklin rolled over Laguna Creek, 70-6. The Wildcats are now 2-0 in DVC duals.
They are coming off an impressive showing last weekend at the the "Sharktank" which was held in Corona. Franklin broke several team records for performance in a major competition. They finished 6th with 134.5 points. Nine wrestlers made it to the second day and four placed.
DJ Harper finished 7th at 160 pounds. Josh Villaflor was 4th at 120 while Antonio Jimenez claimed 3rd at 126. Tyler Hecht won the championship at 285.
Also in the DVC Wednesday, Elk Grove defeated Davis, 72-6.
