Castelan's Single Gives CRC Its 5th Win
Pinch hitter Adam Castelan's tenth inning single drove in Logan Marston with the winning run as Cosumnes River College notched its fifth straight win of the 2014 season Tuesday with a 2-1 victory over Chabot College.
The Hawks (5-0) were paced by left-hander Zack Stilwell who threw 7 1/3 innings of five-hit, one-run baseball. Josh Pigg (2-0) got the win in relief by tossing the final two innings.
