Eleven EGUSD Gridiron Stars Sign National Letter-of-Intent

There were eleven boys who inked their NCAA National Letters-of-Intent to play football Wednesday morning. It was done in one big signing ceremony at the EGUSD's Trigg Building.



Here are interviews with three signees: Joey Banks of Franklin, Earl Chism of Pleasant Grove and Maaka Letuligasenoa, father of Noah, of Elk Grove:


The Citizen today has a nice story remembering the legacy of former EGHS and Kerr football coach Sid McConnell. He's the man responsible for starting the Jr. Thundering Herd and has been a sports fixture in this community for many years. Sid passed away in December.
